• ​1 ready made pie crust, room temperature
  • 6 XL eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (or other cheese)
  • Seasonings to taste (salt, pepper, seasoning salt)


  • 1 lbs. bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3/4 lb. sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 3/4 lb. cooked ham, in small pieces
  • 2 cups steamed or sauted vegatables


  • 1/8 cup or less roasted red pepper, cut in small pieces
  • 1/8 cup or less sun dried tomatoes, cut in small pieces


Preheat oven to 350o F

Press pie crust into quiche dish or pie pan.
Spread choice of filling, optional additions and cheese evenly to cover bottom of dish.  
In a large bowl beat eggs by hand with whip.  
Add half and half and beat.
Add seasonings and beat.
Pour egg mixture over fillings.

Sprinkle with seasonings as desired.

Bake at 350o F for 45 - 60 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

Best when refrigerated overnight and reheated.

Serves 9 - 10.
